The infrastructure used to supply our water is critical to public health and to national industry. Renewing and maintaining it is therefore a top priority. This infrastructure comprises a vast and complex combination of old, new, good, bad and sometimes forgotten elements. In devising and delivering a strategy to manage our water infrastructure, it is therefore vital that an accurate understanding is established of its condition and performance. Whilst, for newer assets, this knowledge can often be delivered through advanced technology providing automated reports, for the bulk of existing infrastructure a specialist individual asset survey will need to be undertaken.

Hydrosave has years of experience in delivering asset surveys; our personnel have worked with water companies and industrial clients on a broad range of water infrastructure assessment projects, collecting accurate primary data, applying expert analysis and converting this into the knowledge on which strategic decisions can confidently be made.

We understand the challenges and the variety of specific requirements which each individual project will have. Our expertise has been used in mains replacement; GPS surveying; air valve audits; drainage area surveys; PRV audits; replacement of mechanical & electromagnetic flow meters; and, telemetry outstation facilities.
