Informed decision making

Having accurate flow and pressure information is essential in understanding how water networks are performing.

Effective data capture and analysis helps make informed decisions on service levels, regulatory compliance and capital investment needs.

Data provisions

Hydrosave provides skilled personnel to install, interrogate and analyse data obtained from flow and pressure surveys. This information is a key component of regulatory reviews, hydraulic assessments, computer model calibration and water demand monitoring.

We have amassed significant experience of using GPRS and SMS technology, having installed and undertaken maintenance on over 20,000 flow and pressure monitoring locations.

We have also planned and deployed significant field tests associated with hydraulic model builds and maintenance projects involving flow, pressure and tank water depth monitoring. This has included accurate GPS surveying to provide geo-referencing and elevation data.

Hydrosave owns hundreds of specialist flow and pressure monitoring data loggers.

Flow measurement

Hydrosave is able to use existing metering provisions or to provide replacement or temporarily installed ultrasonic flow measurement devices in order to successfully obtain relevant information.

Remote data capture

Hydrosave has developed a PDA-based remote data capture system and web-based data warehouse to ensure quality control and auditable information of site activity, logger installations and site photographs.

Our ‘Loggers Online’ software can also provide customers with online project data and management information, enabling maintenance plans to be audited, site inspections to be booked and providing an accurate asset register. The software can be security controlled to allow different access levels and can be integrated with client’s own software systems.
